SRS is excited to announce that, alongside the completion of PRECURSOR Design Review, the anchoring plate of PRECURSOR Main Vessel has arrived at the ENEA -Brasimone Research Center; it is the first component delivered at the construction site.
This marks the starting of the installation activities of the PRECURSOR Facility.

PRECURSOR is a non-nuclear, pool-type test facility that serves as a simulator to newcleo ’s Lead-cooled Fast Reactors (LFRs).

It will represent newcleo reactors in terms of scale, complexity, thermal-hydraulic behaviour, and thermal cycle.
